Ingredients
Method
Cooking Potatoes
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the potatoes, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Cook until they are golden and tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the potatoes and set them aside.
Cooking Steak
- Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
- In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Sear the steak in a single layer, doing this in batches as needed, for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Be careful not to overcook the steak.
Combining Ingredients
- Lower the heat to medium-low and add the remaining butter and garlic to the skillet.
- Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Return the cooked potatoes to the pan and toss everything together.
- Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking the steak; this ensures that they brown properly. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste. If you love garlic, feel free to add more! Use a meat thermometer to check the doneness of the steak for best results.
