  • 1/2 cup cooked and mashed sweet potato canned works too
  • 1 medium frozen banana for creaminess
  • 1.5 cups milk any preferred type
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt for creaminess and protein
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract for added flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon for flavor
  • 1-2 tablespoons peanut or almond butter for a nutty flavor and extra protein

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender starting with the sweet potato and frozen banana.
  2. Add milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Add peanut butter for richness.
  4. Blend until smooth for about 20-40 seconds.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Best served chilled. Optionally add a sprinkle of cinnamon or drizzle of honey on top. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
