Method
Preparation
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth and well combined.
- Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove moisture.
Coating
- Dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour.
- Dip it in the egg wash, letting the excess drip off.
- Re-coat with flour for a crispy exterior.
Cooking
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the chicken tenders in a single layer, leaving space between each.
- Lightly mist the tops of the tenders with more cooking spray.
- Air fry at 400°F for about 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil and sprinkle with a bit of salt.
Notes
To store leftovers, allow the chicken tenders to cool completely, then place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer or oven to retain crispiness.
