- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the brisket until well-coated.
Cooking
- Place the brisket in a slow cooker, add the beef broth, and cook on low for 8-10 hours until the meat is tender.
Serving
- Once cooked, use two forks to shred the brisket into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve the delicious brisket on a bed of fluffy mashed potatoes, in warm buns, or alongside fresh coleslaw.
Notes
To store leftovers, let the brisket cool completely, then transfer it to an airtight container. It will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
