  • 1 cup almond milk Use any plant-based milk as a substitute.
  • 1 medium banana Use ripe bananas for added sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries Use a mix of blueberries and strawberries.
  • 1 tablespoon maqui powder Can substitute with spirulina or acai powder.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional for sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • as needed cubes Ice cubes Optional for a frostier texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the almond milk, banana, frozen berries, maqui powder, honey or maple syrup (if using), and chia seeds.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If you prefer a frostier texture, add ice cubes and blend again until well combined.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture. Garnish with whole berries or a sprinkle of chia seeds for added appeal. Store any leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
