  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (to taste)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, yogurt, and milk.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. If you like it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup and blend again.
  4. Toss in ice cubes and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve right away.

Notes

Serve your Strawberry Smoothie in tall glasses, garnished with a strawberry on the rim or a sprinkle of granola for some crunch. For a fancier touch, add a dollop of whipped cream. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. Best enjoyed fresh.
