Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, salt, and baking powder together until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, and egg. Whisk until mixed well.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a rectangle shape.
- Spread the softened cream cheese mixed with powdered sugar and vanilla extract evenly over the dough.
- Evenly sprinkle the chopped strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Tightly roll the dough from one end to the other, creating a log shape. Slice the roll into about 10 equal pieces.
Baking
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
