Ingredients
  

For the baked feta
  • 200 g feta cheese Use creamy feta for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin olive oil recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Dried thyme or rosemary can be substituted.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • to taste Fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil) for garnish Adds freshness to the dish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the feta cheese in a baking dish.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the feta.
  4. Sprinkle red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and minced garlic on top of the feta.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
  2. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with crusty bread, pita chips, or fresh veggies for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
