Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats Use old-fashioned rolled oats for best texture.
  • 1 cup milk (dairy, almond, oat, or other) Any type of milk can be used.
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt Full-fat Greek yogurt yields extra creaminess.
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips

Method

Preparation
  1. In a jar or container, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, cocoa powder, and peanut butter.
  2. Stir well until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
  3. If you’re using honey or maple syrup, add it now and stir again.
  4. Sprinkle in the chopped peanuts and dark chocolate chips, then give it a quick stir or leave them layered on top.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, until thickened.
Serving
  1. In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash of milk if needed before serving.

Notes

Serve right out of the jar or bowl. Enjoy cold or let sit at room temperature for a few minutes. Top with extra chopped peanuts or a drizzle of chocolate sauce for a treat. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, keeping them covered. Consider adding banana slices or jelly for variety.
