Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with lemon juice and cinnamon. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.
- In mini dessert cups, layer the caramel sauce at the bottom. Use about a tablespoon of sauce for each cup.
- Add a layer of the apple mixture on top of the caramel, about two tablespoons.
- Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the apples, using about two tablespoons.
- Repeat the layers of caramel, apples, and whipped cream until the cups are filled to the rim.
- Drizzle additional salted caramel sauce on top for garnish.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Make the layers prettier with a piping bag for the whipped cream. They can be decorated with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few apple slices on top.
