  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Mini cup dessert containers Mini cup dessert containers

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with lemon juice and cinnamon. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.
  2. In mini dessert cups, layer the caramel sauce at the bottom. Use about a tablespoon of sauce for each cup.
  3. Add a layer of the apple mixture on top of the caramel, about two tablespoons.
  4. Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the apples, using about two tablespoons.
  5. Repeat the layers of caramel, apples, and whipped cream until the cups are filled to the rim.
  6. Drizzle additional salted caramel sauce on top for garnish.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Make the layers prettier with a piping bag for the whipped cream. They can be decorated with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few apple slices on top.
