Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup protein powder Use any type of protein powder.
  • 1 cup oats Certified gluten-free if needed.
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond milk Can substitute with any milk.
  • 1/2 cup nut butter Can use any nut or seed butter.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust for sweetness preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Extras
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional, can use dark or white chocolate.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the protein powder, oats, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the almond milk, nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if you like.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool before slicing and enjoy your protein-packed cake!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Refrigerate for up to a week or freeze slices for up to three months.
