Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 unit banana Provides a creamy base.
  • 1 cup almond milk (or other milk of choice) Adjust amount to preference.
Fruit Layers
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced For the second layer.
  • 1 cup mango, diced For the third layer.
  • 1 cup blueberries For the top layer.
Vegetable Layer
  • 1 cup spinach Sneaking in some greens!
Sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Adjust to sweetness preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the banana and almond milk. Blend until smooth. Pour this mixture into a glass, leaving some for the next layers.
  2. Clean the blender well, then blend the strawberries with a little almond milk until smooth. Carefully layer this on top of the banana layer.
  3. Clean the blender again, then blend the mango with almond milk and layer it on top of the strawberries.
  4. Blend the spinach with almond milk until smooth and layer it on top of the mango.
  5. Finally, blend the blueberries with any remaining almond milk and layer it on top.

Notes

Enjoy the smoothie fresh out of the blender. Serve it in a tall glass to showcase the layers or in a bowl topped with granola.
