  • 8-10 large large carrots Peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup melted butter For tossing with the carrots
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Adjust to taste
  • to taste Salt For seasoning
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning
  • 1 tsp parsley For garnishing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel the carrots and slice them into even pieces.
  3. Place the sliced carrots in a 9x13 baking dish.
Mixing
  1. Melt 1/3 cup of butter and pour it over the carrots. Toss them to coat evenly.
  2. Sprinkle the brown sugar, parsley, salt, and pepper over the carrots. Mix everything well.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour, stirring halfway through.
  2. The carrots are done when they are fork-tender.

Notes

Store leftover glazed carrots in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or in a skillet on the stove. Feel free to add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor!
