Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Optionally, place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet for extra crispiness.
  3. Lay the bacon strips in a single layer on the baking sheet without overlapping.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Check around the 15-minute mark.
  2. Once the bacon is golden and crispy, remove it from the oven.
  3. Transfer the cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.

Notes

Baked bacon is versatile and can be enjoyed on its own or added to salads, sandwiches, and more. To store leftovers, use an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days, or freeze for up to three months.
