Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and egg if using. Mix until well combined.
- Take thick cabbage slices and brush each side with olive oil.
- Place a generous amount of the meat mixture on top of each cabbage slice, forming a burger shape.
Cooking
- Arrange the cabbage burgers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
These cabbage burgers are great on their own but can also be served with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ketchup or a creamy sauce. You can pair them with a side salad or some roasted veggies for a complete meal. Adjust spices to taste; consider adding cheese for a melty twist.
