Ingredients
  

For the cream layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust for sweetness to taste.
  • 1 cup whipped topping For a lighter texture.
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract For added mint flavor.
For the chocolate layer
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix Use an instant pudding mix.
  • 2 cups milk Follow package instructions for thickness.
For assembly
  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed About 24 cookies for the base and layers.
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips For topping.
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling Add before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping and peppermint extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened, according to package instructions.
Assembly
  1. In a rectangular dish, layer half of the crushed Oreo cookies on the bottom.
  2. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cookies.
  3. Add half of the chocolate pudding mixture on top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining crushed Oreos, cream cheese mixture, and chocolate pudding.
  5. Top with mini chocolate chips and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It may taste better the next day as flavors meld together. For added mint flavor, consider sprinkling crushed mint candies on top before serving.
