Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the whipped topping and peppermint extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened, according to package instructions.
Assembly
- In a rectangular dish, layer half of the crushed Oreo cookies on the bottom.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cookies.
- Add half of the chocolate pudding mixture on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining crushed Oreos, cream cheese mixture, and chocolate pudding.
- Top with mini chocolate chips and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Chilling
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It may taste better the next day as flavors meld together. For added mint flavor, consider sprinkling crushed mint candies on top before serving.
