Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian Rolls Soft and sweet
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese For classic flavor
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Adds creaminess
  • 4 tbsp Butter Softened
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Optional, for enhanced flavor
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs Optional - oregano or basil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses together.
  3. Take the Hawaiian rolls and slice them in half without separating them completely.
  4. Spread some softened butter on the inside of each roll.
  5. If using, sprinkle garlic powder and dried herbs on the buttered sides for extra flavor.
  6. Place a generous amount of the cheese mixture between the rolls.
  7. Close the rolls and place them in a baking dish.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with a little more softened butter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  2. Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These mini grilled cheese rolls are best served warm and melty. They pair well with tomato soup, marinara sauce, or any dipping sauce. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
