Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, green onions, parsley (if using), black pepper, and salt. Set aside.
- Slice the loaf of soft white bread open lengthwise, creating a pocket but do not cut all the way through.
Assembly
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly inside the pocket of the bread, filling generously.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Brush this mixture over the top of the stuffed bread.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Wrap the bread in foil and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing into pieces to serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
