Ingredients
  

For the dough
  • 1 cup almond flour Main base for the breadsticks.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Provides the cheesy texture.
  • 2 ounces cream cheese Adds creaminess to the mix.
  • 1 large egg Helps bind the dough.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder Leavening agent.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning For additional flavor.
For topping
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds a savory crust.
  • Butter for brushing For a golden finish.
  • Parsley for garnish Optional for presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella and cream cheese. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and then heat for another 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the almond flour, baking powder, minced garlic, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients, then add the egg and mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into 8-10 portions to shape into breadsticks and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush them with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
