Preparation
- Muddle the blackberries and basil in a bowl until the berries are broken down and juicy.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove seeds (optional).
- Squeeze the lemons and add the fresh lemon juice to the blackberry mixture.
- Dissolve the sweetener in a little warm water, then stir it into the lemonade.
- Add cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Serve over ice and enjoy! Add sparkling water if you want a fizzy version.
Notes
Store any leftovers in a sealed pitcher in the refrigerator for up to three days. If you added sparkling water, it's best enjoyed fresh.
