Ingredients

For the Chicken Thighs
  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
For the Seasoning
  • 2.5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt or salt to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more olive oil.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and, using your hands, toss them in the oil seasoning mixture until they are well coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the chicken thighs on the sheet pan smooth side up and bake uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip the chicken at least once during cooking.

Notes

Make sure to coat the chicken well with the seasoning for maximum flavor. Feel free to experiment with spices based on your taste preferences. Ensure your oven is preheated properly for even cooking.
