Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil and set aside.
- In a large bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more olive oil.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and, using your hands, toss them in the oil seasoning mixture until they are well coated.
Cooking
- Place the chicken thighs on the sheet pan smooth side up and bake uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip the chicken at least once during cooking.
