Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, then mix well.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips to add extra sweetness.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  3. Allow the cookies to cool before decorating with edible glitter or rock candy to create the stunning geode effect.
