Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until just combined.
- Fold in candy crystals gently.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
These cookies can be served warm or at room temperature. For a decorative touch, add extra candy crystals on top right after baking. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage if needed.
