Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Slice the cabbage into thick steaks (about 1 inch).
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with olive oil and then spread the herb butter mixture on top.
Roasting
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
Serving
- Serve warm as a side dish.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or on a skillet. Make sure to use a sharp knife when cutting the cabbage. Adjust the garlic and herbs to taste. Broil for extra crunch if desired.
