Preparation
- Cut the cabbage into long narrow strips about 1/2 inch thick and set it aside.
- Peel and mince the garlic.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Once the butter is melted and bubbly, add the minced garlic. Sauté until the garlic just starts to brown.
- Stir in the oregano, basil, salt, and red pepper flakes into the garlic.
- Add the cabbage and gently toss to coat it in the garlic butter. Cook the cabbage until it starts to wilt and becomes tender, but not mushy.
- Move the noodles to a serving bowl or plate and top them with shaved Parmesan.
Notes
These noodles can be served hot as a side dish or main course. They pair wonderfully with grilled meats, seafood, or can be enjoyed on their own. A sprinkle of more cheese on top can enhance the flavors. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply sauté in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through.
