Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded finely grated for better blend
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated finely grated for better blend
  • 2 large eggs for binding the dough
  • 1 cup almond flour low-carb flour alternative
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled and minced or pressed
Topping Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (optional) e.g., basil or parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) using top and bottom heat.
  2. Peel the garlic cloves and finely chop or press them through a garlic press.
Dough Mixing
  1. In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, almond flour, and chopped garlic. Stir until you have a smooth dough.
  2. Do not add the fresh herbs just yet.
Shaping
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the dough onto the sheet in a round or oval shape, about 5 mm thick.
Baking
  1. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
Finishing Touch
  1. Once baked, sprinkle the chopped herbs on top and serve warm.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also refrigerate them for about a week or freeze for longer storage.
