Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 8 pieces slider buns Use your preferred type of slider buns.
  • 1 pound roast beef Leftover roast beef or deli roast beef works well.
  • 1 cup caramelized onions Add for flavor and sweetness.
  • 1 cup cheese Provolone or Swiss cheese are recommended.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter Seasoned with garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt For seasoning the butter.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper For seasoning the butter.
For Serving
  • 2 cups au jus sauce For dipping sliders.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and arrange the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Layer the roast beef on top of the bottom halves of the buns.
  4. Add caramelized onions and cheese if desired.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns on top and brush with melted butter seasoned with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden.
Serving
  1. Serve French Dip Sliders warm, accompanied by a small bowl of au jus sauce for dipping.
  2. Pair them with a simple salad or some crispy fries for a complete meal.

Notes

To store leftovers, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to regain crispy texture.
