Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough until it's about ¼ inch thick.
- Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Sprinkle your cheese and cooked sausage or bacon on top of the eggs.
- Carefully roll the dough tightly from one end to form a log. Seal the edges well to avoid any filling spilling out.
- Place the rolled stromboli on a baking sheet and cut a few slits on top to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is a beautiful golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing, then serve and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. It can also be frozen before baking and baked straight from the freezer. For a gooey texture, let the stromboli sit for about 5 minutes after baking before slicing.
