Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Open the can of chicken, drain it, and remove excess moisture using a fine mesh strainer. Push out the water gently with your fingers.
- In a medium bowl, mix the drained chicken with an egg, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, and your choice of seasonings.
- Use your hands to form the chicken mixture into small bite-sized nuggets, about a heaping tablespoon for each nugget.
Cooking
- Place your nuggets on the baking sheet and bake them for 18-22 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- Enjoy your chicken nuggets straight out of the oven with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Make sure to remove as much moisture as possible from the canned chicken for the best texture. Experiment with different seasonings and cheeses to find your favorites. Adding finely chopped vegetables can also boost nutrition.
