  • 1 cup fresh or frozen dragonfruit chunks Dragonfruit is also known as pitaya.
  • 1 banana Adds creaminess.
  • 1 cup coconut milk Or any milk of your choice.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional for sweetness.
  • ½ cup ice If using fresh dragonfruit.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. If using fresh dragonfruit, peel and chop it into chunks. If using frozen, simply measure out a cup.
Blending
  1. In a blender, combine the dragonfruit, banana, coconut milk, and honey (optional).
  2. If using fresh dragonfruit, add the ice to make the smoothie cold and refreshing.
  3. Blend on high until all ingredients are smoothly combined with no chunks remaining.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more honey if desired.
Serving
  1. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

You can garnish with a slice of fresh dragonfruit or berries, and a sprig of mint for added freshness. Pairs well with granola or whole-grain toast.
