  • 1 piece frozen banana Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
  • 1 cup frozen dragonfruit Fresh dragonfruit can be substituted; add ice for chill.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor of the smoothie.
  • 1-1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk Adjust amount for desired consistency.
  • 1/2 cup plain vanilla dairy-free yogurt Optional, adds creaminess.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on HIGH, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides, until everything is smooth.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick, add additional splashes of unsweetened almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Serve immediately in a glass and enjoy!

Notes

For added fun, top the smoothie with fresh fruit slices or granola. It can be stored in an airtight container for a day in the fridge, but is best enjoyed fresh.
