Breading Mixture

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated yields better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon spices (e.g., garlic powder, paprika) Add to taste.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Helps the crumbs stick to the chicken.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer according to the manufacturer instructions.
  2. In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and spices.
  3. Spread mayonnaise evenly over each chicken breast.
  4. Coat the mayonnaise-covered chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the chicken and the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Place the coated chicken in the basket and cook at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer to regain crispiness. Don't overcrowd the air fryer for even cooking.
