Preparation
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In a large saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat. Then, add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until it melts into a smooth sauce.
- In a separate skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked, diced chicken, honey, and black pepper; sauté until the chicken is glazed and slightly crispy.
Assembly
- Mix the macaroni with the cheese sauce until well combined.
- Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish, top with the glazed chicken, and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
Baking
- Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy every bite!
