For the pasta
  • 8 oz macaroni pasta
For the cheese sauce
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
For the chicken
  • 1 cup chicken breast, cooked and diced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
For the topping
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat. Then, add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until it melts into a smooth sauce.
  3. In a separate skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked, diced chicken, honey, and black pepper; sauté until the chicken is glazed and slightly crispy.
Assembly
  1. Mix the macaroni with the cheese sauce until well combined.
  2. Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish, top with the glazed chicken, and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy every bite!

Notes
