Ingredients
  

For the Rollups
  • 10 slices white bread, crusts removed Remove crusts for easier rolling.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened to room temperature.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted For coating before rolling in cinnamon sugar.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Remove the crusts from the bread slices to make them easier to roll.
  2. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread completely.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture on each flattened bread slice.
  5. Roll up each bread slice tightly to fully enclose the cream cheese filling and press gently to seal.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together.
  7. Dip each rollup in the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Place the coated rollups on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

For an extra flavor twist, consider adding chocolate chips or nuts to the cream cheese filling. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to a month.
