Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Mixing
  1. Add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  2. Fold in your favorite chocolate chips (not included in the ingredient list, suggest 2 cups).
Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For softer cookies, underbake slightly.
