Ingredients
  

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt Can substitute with Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Can use any milk of choice.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional, adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed cups Ice cubes Optional for a thicker texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add the cherries, banana, vanilla yogurt, almond milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract to a blender.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes to the blender and blend again for a thicker consistency.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy your healthy cherry vanilla smoothie!

Notes

Serve chilled immediately after blending. Garnish with whole cherries or a slice of banana if desired. Leftover smoothie can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. For longer storage, freeze into ice cube trays.
