  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Can substitute with salted butter but reduce added salt.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season liberally for enhanced flavor.
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or parsley) for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a baking dish, melt the butter.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the melted butter, turning to coat well.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad. It pairs beautifully with rice or mashed potatoes. For a family meal, cut the chicken into strips and offer a selection of dipping sauces.
