Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out homemade dough to about 1/4 inch thickness if using.
- Place the rolled dough on a parchment-lined baking tray or pizza stone.
- Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a border for the crust. Season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange blackberries on top of the ricotta and sprinkle mozzarella cheese if desired.
Baking
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pizza.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with torn basil leaves, honey, and balsamic glaze if desired.
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
This pizza serves well as a main dish or appetizer. Pair with a simple side salad for a complete meal. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge.
