Cheese and Toppings
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries Use fresh, ripe blackberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn These add freshness and aroma.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Drizzle for added sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional) Sprinkle on top for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out homemade dough to about 1/4 inch thickness if using.
  2. Place the rolled dough on a parchment-lined baking tray or pizza stone.
  3. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a border for the crust. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange blackberries on top of the ricotta and sprinkle mozzarella cheese if desired.
Baking
  1. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the pizza.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and crispy.
  3. Remove from the oven and garnish with torn basil leaves, honey, and balsamic glaze if desired.
  4. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes
