Preparation
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble it.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
Grilling
- Brush one side of the dough with olive oil and place that side down on the grill.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden.
- Flip the dough and spread the blackberries, mozzarella cheese, crumbled bacon, and basil on top.
- Close the grill lid and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the grill, season with salt and pepper, and serve warm.
Notes
Serve the pizza warm, with a light salad or white wine. Cut into squares for appetizers. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or grill to maintain crust texture.
