  • 1/2 cup brewed chamomile tea, cooled
  • 1 large ripe banana Use ripe for best sweetness and creaminess
  • 1 tbsp honey Can substitute with maple syrup or agave nectar for vegan option
  • 1/2 cup milk (or preferred milk alternative) Experiment with different alternatives like almond or oat milk
  • to taste ice cubes Optional for a colder smoothie
For Garnish
  • to taste dried chamomile leaves Optional, for garnish
  • 1 slice banana Optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brew 1/2 cup of chamomile tea and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine the cooled chamomile tea, ripe banana, honey, and milk (or your preferred milk alternative).
  3. Add ice cubes if desired and blend everything on high until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with dried chamomile leaves or a slice of banana if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Shake or stir before drinking. Use a ripe banana for the best sweetness and experiment with milk alternatives.
