  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's softened for easy mixing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 pieces jalapenos, diced Adjust based on heat preference
  • 8 slices bacon Thin or regular cut
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 piece lime, juiced For crema
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapenos together until well combined.
  3. Take each chicken breast and slice a pocket into the side.
  4. Stuff each pocket with the cheese mixture.
  5. Season the outside of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  6. Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, ensuring it’s fully covered.
Cooking
  1. Place the wrapped chicken in the air fryer basket.
  2. Air fry for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy.
Serving
  1. While the chicken cooks, mix the sour cream and lime juice to make the crema.
  2. Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with the crema drizzled on top.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider searing the bacon in a skillet before wrapping it around the chicken. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
