Ingredients
  

For the chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil for brushing
For the seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of the chicken breasts with avocado or olive oil.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Cook at 375°F for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 155 to 160°F.
Serving
  1. Let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve sliced on a bed of greens, in a sandwich, or alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before cooking. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it’s perfectly cooked and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
