Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk can substitute with any plant-based milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced apples use fresh apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
Cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just blended, then gently fold in the diced apples.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Scoop spoonfuls of the batter into the air fryer basket, making sure to leave some space between each fritter.
  3. Lightly spray the fritters with cooking oil and air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Serving
  1. Enjoy your fritters warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or cinnamon.

Notes

To store any leftover fritters, place them in an airtight container. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to eat, simply reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain their delightful texture.
